Rishabh Kumar — Founder, Vairagya Yatra

Founder’s Story

Vairagya Yatra began with Rishabh’s belief that the mountains are not just destinations—they are places that slow us down, strip the noise away, and reconnect us with what matters.

A B.Pharm graduate and trained mountaineer, Rishabh brings together his academic background, mountain experience, and passion for meaningful journeys to create experiences that go beyond ordinary trekking.

“We don’t treat treks as transport to a summit. The journey itself is the experience.”

From small groups and carefully chosen trails to trained trek leaders and safety-first operations, every journey is designed to help you explore the mountains with confidence.

Stories From the Himalayas

Real words from people who walked with us — not slogans, just what they felt.

“Main pehli baar Himalayan trek pe gaya tha, thoda nervous tha. Par guides ne itna support diya ki mujhe kabhi unsafe feel hi nahi hua. Raat ko campfire ke paas jo baatein hui — ek yaad ban gaya.”

“Ye trip mere liye sirf pahadon ki journey nahi thi — khud ko samajhne ka mauka tha. Team warm aur friendly hai. Agar aap nature ke saath connect karna chahte ho, Vairagya perfect choice hai.”

“Main kaafi trek companies dekh chuka hoon, par yahan personal touch alag hi laga. Food, stay, safety — sab properly planned. Doston ke saath travel kar raha tha, tour company ke saath nahi.”
